Bajaj Auto Introduces Triumph Speed T4 and MY25 Speed 400: Prices, Features, and More
Bajaj Auto has launched two exciting models under its partnership with Triumph, the Triumph Speed T4 and the MY25 Speed 400, in India. These motorcycles are designed for modern classic roadster enthusiasts and come with impressive features, including advanced hardware, powerful engines, and updated technology. The Triumph Speed T4, priced at ₹2.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), is now the most affordable Triumph motorcycle in the country, making it an attractive choice for bike lovers. The MY25 Speed 400, with a price tag of ₹2.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), also brings new paint schemes and design tweaks for a more refined look. With top-notch features like LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, and traction control, both models aim to capture the attention of Indian consumers seeking premium motorcycles. Deliveries for both models are set to start later this month

Bajaj Auto has once again strengthened its partnership with Triumph by launching two new motorcycles in the Indian market: the Triumph Speed T4 and the MY25 Speed 400. These modern classic roadsters are designed to appeal to a growing segment of motorcycle enthusiasts in India. Offering a combination of affordability, performance, and style, these two models are poised to become popular choices among riders looking for a premium experience.

The Triumph Speed T4, priced at ₹2.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), is now the most affordable Triumph motorcycle available in India. This motorcycle brings with it a unique blend of design and performance. The "T" in its name stands for "torque," while the "4" refers to its 400cc engine. This model has been designed with efficiency in mind, boasting a fuel consumption rate that is claimed to be 10% better than its sibling, the Speed 400.

One of the major talking points of the Speed T4 is its engine. It produces 30.6 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, making it an ideal bike for city commutes as well as long rides. Additionally, 85% of the torque is available as early as 2,500 rpm, giving riders the kind of power that makes for an exciting and smooth ride. The bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox and features a slip-and-assist clutch, further enhancing its performance on the road.

The Speed T4 is equipped with a conventional telescopic front fork instead of the more expensive upside-down forks seen on the Speed 400. This change helps keep the price of the bike lower without compromising its handling and ride comfort. The motorcycle also comes with all-LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, and traction control, making it a tech-savvy option for riders.

Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto has also unveiled the MY25 Speed 400, priced at ₹2.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This model is an updated version of the Speed 400 and comes with new paint schemes and several design enhancements. It features high-profile radial tires (110/80 at the front and 150/70 at the rear), five-step adjustable levers for the front brake and clutch, and a refreshed look that gives it a more refined appearance. The bike retains its powerful 400cc engine and boasts a balanced design that appeals to both casual riders and motorcycle enthusiasts.

Both models come with a range of color options to cater to the diverse tastes of Indian consumers. The Triumph Speed T4 will be available in white, red, and black, while the MY25 Speed 400 offers more vibrant color choices like Racing Yellow, Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red, and Phantom Black. This wide array of colors allows riders to pick a bike that best suits their personality.

Sumeet Narang, President of Bajaj Auto’s Probiking Business, highlighted the growing demand for modern classic motorcycles in India, pointing out that Triumph Motorcycles India has achieved remarkable success within just one year of its collaboration with Bajaj Auto. With over 120 showrooms across 75 cities, this partnership has rapidly expanded Triumph's footprint in the country, and the launch of these two models is expected to further strengthen their market presence.

The Triumph Speed T4 is expected to compete with other popular roadsters in the Indian market, including the Jawa 42, Royal Enfield Hunter 350, and Hero Mavrick 440. With its competitive pricing, powerful engine, and stylish design, the Speed T4 is likely to give these models a tough fight. Similarly, the MY25 Speed 400, with its updated features and performance enhancements, is expected to capture the attention of riders looking for a more premium riding experience.
