Race Against Time: Blinkit, Zepto, and BigBasket Compete to Deliver iPhone 16 in Just 10 Minutes
Quick commerce platforms Blinkit, Zepto, and BigBasket are competing to deliver the iPhone 16 within 10 minutes, marking a new era in rapid product delivery.

The launch of the iPhone 16 has ignited fierce competition among quick commerce platforms in India. Blinkit, Zepto, and BigBasket are all vying to offer rapid delivery of Apple’s latest flagship phone, promising customers that they can have the device in hand within just 10 minutes of placing their order.

The Quick Commerce Showdown

BigBasket, owned by Tata, was one of the first to announce its commitment to delivering the iPhone 16 series in under 10 minutes. Meanwhile, Blinkit and Zepto have joined the race, eager to capitalize on the hype surrounding the new device. CEO of Blinkit, Albinder Dhindsa, recently stated that they would be delivering the iPhone 16 via the Unicorn store in select regions, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru.

Zepto, too, has made headlines with its promise of speedy delivery. The company’s President expressed excitement about partnering with premium brands to enhance the shopping experience for customers looking to get their hands on the iPhone 16 as quickly as possible.

A New Shopping Experience

The quick commerce platforms are not only focusing on speed but also on providing an enhanced customer experience. Alongside fast delivery, Blinkit has announced discounts and flexible EMIs for customers purchasing the iPhone 16, adding further appeal to their offering.

Dhindsa noted that Blinkit had already sold 300 units within hours of the launch, highlighting the demand and the success of their rapid delivery model. BigBasket, in collaboration with Croma, is also poised to cater to eager iPhone buyers.

Beyond iPhones

The competition isn’t limited to just the iPhone 16. These platforms have broadened their portfolios to include other electronic items, like gaming consoles and gadgets, available for delivery in under 10 minutes. This strategy not only caters to tech enthusiasts but also positions these companies as go-to solutions for immediate electronic needs.
